Board Meetings
Our Board meetings occur once a month. Apart from the first meeting after our AGM, all members are invited and encouraged to attend meetings. This is your chance to provide input, volunteer with the club, and get involved. If you would like to attend a Board meeting and/or would like a copy of our Board minutes, please email us.
President
Rachael has been mountain biking on and off since 2000 in the UK. Moving to Victoria in 2022, access to the amazing local trails reignited her stoke for biking. The Dirty Girlz was instrumental in connecting her with a community of awesome women in Victoria.

Vice President
Mélissa B. began riding in 2023. She was looking for new ways to challenge herself. The forest is her happy place, so it didn’t take long for her to become addicted to the sport. You can hear her familiar ‘Pew Pew’!! when she rides, especially when done climbing. Mélissa enjoys cheering on others, celebrating wins (big or small), and creating a safe and fun environment for woman to enjoy mountain biking.
Treasurer
A lifelong Mountain Biker wannabe, Mafalda finally took up the sport when a soccer teammate took her on her first ride at The Dump in 2019 and hasn’t looked back. She credits the Dirty Girlz for helping her improve her confidence and technical skills. “I’ve made so many friends and love riding with such a diverse group of women.”

Secretary
Lori is new to the island but not to mountain biking. She’s been riding trails in Alberta for the last 25 years and is grateful to the Dirty Girlz for introducing her to the amazing West Coast riding. Lori says, “25 years of riding and my life is still, trying to get up that great big hill.”
Director
You might hear Stacey, aka the Wizard, before you see her – she can be loud! Stacey got into mountain biking in 2004, when her then 9-year-old son excitedly stated “Mom you have to try this!” after taking a summer mountain biking camp. She tried it, loved it, and is still riding — albeit slower, thanks to some extra “padding”. Stacey loves the free mud facials during rainy season, socializing with the ladies and having a good time.

Director
Tracy began riding in 2021 as an outlet from the pandemic heaviness. With the support of friends and family and learning that ‘You can always take the ride around’ she picked away at the trails until she found her groove. Now, you can hear the familiar ‘Woot! Woot!’ as she clears a feature or “Whoa!!! That was a little spicy!!” when she leaves it for another day.
Director
Melissa J. started getting into mountain biking shortly after moving to Vancouver Island. After meeting an awesome group of women through the Dirty Girlz, her weekends consist of finding new trails, features and adventures in the local surrounding areas. She loves a good rock roll and is constantly learning new skills from the strong women in this community.
